South Brazilian Family Trees collected by Carlos A Heuser
Welcome
On these websites I collect the results of my genealogical research.
I started looking for my ancestors in the 1990s. As usual in family history research, I was focused on my and my wife’s ancestors.
In the first few generations I found Brazilians from the south, all of them descendants of German immigrants. With the identification of the immigrants and their places of origin, it was possible to expand the research to Europe, sometimes up to the 16th century.
With the marriage of my children, I became also interested in the ancestors of my grandchildren and extended my research to other countries, among them Portugal and Sweden.
This site is part of a more comprehensive portal, which I maintain with my wife, Eliane Heuser.

The content is stored in two websites:
- Genealogical database
– Located at gen-db.heuser.pro.br –
Here you will find the genealogical data itself: data on people, families, and locations, as well as, photographs and documents. - Blog

On the blog I publish articles related to the progress of my research. Here you will find stories, descriptions of locations and other articles related to the families surveyed.
The current page is the opening page of the blog.
The database contains three different trees. Use the buttons below to access a detailed description of each one.
